Nursing Home Litigation

According to the Committee on Government Reform of the U.S. House of Representatives:

"There are nearly 17,000 nursing homes in the United States that currently care for 1.6 million residents - a figure expected to quadruple to 6.6 million residents by 2050."

Recent accounts and surveys have sadly shown that nursing home abuse and neglect is a serious problem. Nursing home abuse and neglect occurs when the resident suffers injury due to improper care. It is often difficult to determine when the abuse or neglect has taken place. The types of injuries which may occur are falls, broken bones or hips, bed sores malnutrition, dehydration, and improper care of wounds or infections and failure to diagnose changes to a patients medical condition.

Our firm has experience in litigating nursing home cases and we would be glad to discuss any problems you may have involving any of your family members or friends that you suspect may be receiving inadequate care in a nursing home.

The Gilreath Law Firm brings efficiency, effectiveness and expertise to each client experience. Please contact us today at 864-242-4727 or via our online contact form.
